Michał Meina, MSc, Department of Informatics, NCU: “Pedestrian Dead Reckoning aided with sparse UWB radio ranging architecture”
A method for correcting estimates of Inertial Dead Reckoning using foot-mounted IMU’s will be presented. The main goal is to minimize accumulative error property of such systems. A system is aided with sparse ultra-wide band beacon architecture (less than two in overlapping coverage area). Algorithm is an adaptation of Particle Filter.
